How to Perform Linksys RE6400 Setup?

1st Step: Place the Extender

6th Step: Execute Setup Instructions

Keep executing the instructions as given below:

• Accept the Terms & Conditions and click the Start Setup button.
• Choose the operation mode and click Next.
• Select the WiFi network you want to extend.
• If your router supports both wireless bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) then you will see both WiFi networks in the options.
• Insert the WiFi password and click Next.
• Change the WiFi settings of your configured Linksys extender’s WiFi and click Next.
• Now, assign an admin password for your Linksys RE6400.
• Add a password hint for password recovery in case you forget it.
• Click on the Save button.
• You will see a window popping up that says your Linksys extender is set up.

This completes the Linksys RE6400 setup process. You can now connect your client devices (computer, laptop, mobile phones, etc) to your extender’s WiFi. You can move your extender to a place where you want the existing WiFi signals to be extended. Bear in mind that the place you choose should sit within the boundary line of the router’s network.
