- Now, visit extender.linksys.com or 192.168.1.1 on a supported internet browser.
- Log in using the default admin password. The default admin password is admin.
- Select Start Setup.
- Select Starlink gateway’s WiFi name from the list.
- Enter the WiFi password and move ahead.
- On the setup wizard, configure manual settings now.
- Assign a WiFi SSID 2.4 GHz network and assign a WiFi password for it.
- Likewise assign SSID and password for 5 GHz network. Your extender is now ready to extend 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network bands from the Starlink gateway.
- The Spot Finder page appears now. Use the instructions to choose an ideal location for the WiFi extender.
- Now create an admin password for the Linksys WiFi extender. Save the settings.
- Register your extender by entering your email Address.
- It will check for firmware update now. You can choose to update your extender if an update is available.
- Join Linksys extender’s WiFi name.
- As soon as the button named Next turns blue, click on it.
