Linksys AC1300 Router Setup
Connect your router to the cable modem with the help of the Ethernet cable. Have a look at simple steps to make a link;
- Place the router near to the modem.
- Connect cable to the modem LAN port.
- Connect cable to the router WAN port.
Then, turn on the device and carry on to login process which you can do via phone as well computer.
Via Phone
- Download the Linksys App from Play Store or App Store.
- Open the app and log in to it with the help of the Emal ID and password.
- If you don’t have any credentials, then you have to Sign Up and create an account.
- Enter your Name, Email address, password, and then confirm password.
- After creating an account, you will get in to the app dashboard where you can easily adjust the settings.
This will complete the Linksys router setup, which you can do with the help of your computer.
Via Computer
- Open an updated web browser and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 or URL linksyssmartwifi.com in the address bar.
- By pressing the Enter button, you will get to the login admin page, where you have to enter the username and password.
- You will the credentials on the device label or user manual just enter them and access the interface.
Linksys AC1300 Velop Setup
There are more than one networking nodes in the Linksys AC1300 Velop mesh system. First, you have to connect the Velop router and Linksys Velop child node to your home network.
- Place the router near to the modem.
- Connect cable to the modem LAN port.
- Connect cable to the router WAN port.
Then, connect child nodes to the Velop router by pressing the WPS button on both of the Linksys nodes.

Reboot Devices
