How to Complete Linksys AC2200 Setup?

Linksys brand provides so many models of the WiFi devices like Smart routers, extenders, routers and Velop mesh systems. Here, you will get to learn about how to complete the Linksys AC2200 setup with the help of simple but different methods.

Linksys AC2200 Setup

IP Address (192.168.1.1)

You should connect Linksys WiFi router with the modem via LAN cable. After that, link the computer or laptop to the router with cable.

  • 1.Launch the browser and type in the IP address 192.168.1.1 in URL bar.
  • 2.Search it by pressing Enter button, and you will get to the interface.
  • 3.Enter the username and password (admin credentials) to carry on.
  • 4.The credentials are given on the device label or in the user manual.
  • 5.By filling and log in you will access the interface where you can adjust the settings.

Web Address (Myrouter.local)

Connect Linksys WiFi router with the modem via LAN cable, link the computer or laptop to the router with cable.

  • 1.Launch the browser and type in the URL myrouter.local.
  • 2.Search it by pressing Enter button, and you will get to the interface.
  • 3.Enter the username and password (admin credentials) to carry on.
  • 4.The credentials are given on the device label or in the user manual.
  • 5.By filling and log in you will access the interface where you can adjust the settings.

Phone App (Linksys App)

You have set the router with the modem physically first with the help of the Ethernet cable and turn it on then follow these steps to complete the Linksys router setup:

  • 1.To open the Linksys app in your phone. If you don’t have the app, then you can download it from the Play Store or App Store.
  • 2.Open the app in your phone, tap on the ‘Setup Router’ and you will get to a new page.
  • 3.Select the model name of the Linksys that is AC2200 and choose where you have connected the device in your home.
  • 4.After that, you need to Create Network, enter the SSID username and password, and then SAVE it.
  • 5.These credentials will be used to access the Linksys cloud window. Set all settings like adjusting channels, and change WiFi password.
